Froggy reads reddit every day. The site is linked under news on itsachats main page. Here is a little rendition of the logo he made for them I added some sparks to his antenna, but this was designed and developed by Froggy. I’ll keep you posted if Reddit decides to use it or not. If they do, it could mean some great advertising for the site!!! -=crosses fingees=-

My son just started junior high school this year; grade 7. He has to go to a regular high school to take his shops class, one that goes up to grade 12. Last friday was shops. He came home from school on Thursday with a note saying. “There has been some graffiti at the school. The police have been called and are investigating. If you are concerned, you dont have to send your child to school tomorrow.” Pretty vague. They did not say what the graffiti said, where it was, what leads they may have as to who may have done it. Graffiti? Police involved? I thought it was all a bit dramatic. I asked my son, “How do you feel about going to shops tomorrow?” He replied, “I’m okay with it.” So, I thought it was settled that he would go to school, regardless whether or not someone had painted graffiti on the wall there.

Then my daughter got home from school. She goes to the high school where the aforementioned graffiti was. I asked her what had happened. She explains that some kids have gone into the bathrooms at her school and spraypainted on the walls there that they are going to be at the school on Friday, with guns to shoot and kill as many students and teachers as they can.” I was shocked! I immediately did not want either one of them attending school the next day – and they didnt. My daughter believes it is a prank and a way that these kids can get the school closed down for the day – a free inservice. My son was happy not to have to go to shops (he likes his own school better than the “big” school, due to scary “gangster types” that he sees there).

I’m not so sure it is a prank, I hope it is. Nothing happened on the Friday at the school, other than that there were no students there, only teachers and police. Now I am afraid for my children. My oldest (who is in grade 12) gets to do a work project and doesnt actually have to go to the school until January, as she will be “off campus.” However, my boy still has to take shops there once for a 1/2 day per week. Why are youngsters so evil these days? Does anyone remember Columbine? Who are these kids who are writing death threats and where are their parents? Why was the note from the school so vague? What if I didnt have a kid who went to that school? How else was I to know what kind of “Graffiti” was put there. Where do they get off calling blatant death threats Graffiti? How misleading is that? I am angry with the school, trying to understand why they could down play this. Most likely so as not to cause a panic. What would have happened had the school not been emptied that Friday? I really don’t know.

As of now, they still don’t know who made the threats. Today, my son came home with another note. There have been more threats, more so called “graffiti” this time saying…. We’re not going to tell you what day it is happening… I have to take him out of shops. I hate these little bastards who are doing this. This is happening in a major city in Canada. The news reported it as happening at 2 high schools, none of which are the high school my children attend. What? Did they forget about that one? You can’t even count on the media to report facts these days. This world Sucks!

A typical day with my froggy is always filled with lots of excitement, fun and laughter. Here is an example of the kinds of things he says to me… here are a few things he said to me last night…..

“Honey… they discovered the worlds oldest animal….. and they killed it.” (it was a 400 year old clam)

“Honey… i love you so much… i am going to tickle you to death tonight!!”

“Hey snooks, did you hear Harper (canada’s prime minister) was at a conference recently and he said, “it is the main responsibility and duty of the prime minister of canada to build a better relationship with us president george bush.” We knew harper was crawling up bush’s ass, but what’s that cocklicker doing coming right out and saying it?”

“Ow! I just stepped on something and now my foot is bleeding. I’m just waiting to step on one of those giant tacks you have lying around here, got one handy? Just throw it on the floor somewhere when im not looking.”

*smacks me on the ass* Yowsaaaaaaaaaah
